The knot detail on this leash is what sold me — it's genuinely functional for grip, not just decorative. I clip it short when we're crossing busy streets, and the climbing rope feel is way more comfortable in my hand than the flat nylon I had before.

Took this on a hike where I needed my dog right at my hip through the rocky sections, and the short length made steering him around obstacles so much easier than my old six-footer. The climbing-style knot gives me a solid grip even when my hands are sweaty.

I clip this short leash to my belt when we're navigating crowded farmers markets, and the climbing-style rope feels solid without being stiff. The knot detail is a nice touch too.
