Compare the Remix Soft Flying Disc and Webbing Tug Toy: one is a lightweight fetch flyer, the other a tug-and-toss toy. Find out which suits your dog's play style.
Quick Answer
Choose the Remix Soft Flying Disc for gentle fetch sessions and confidence building; pick the Webbing Tug Toy for interactive tug-and-toss play that uses repurposed materials.
Play Style Matters
The Remix Soft Flying Disc is designed for fetch on land—its lightweight, flexible build is easy on gums and teeth, making it ideal for dogs still learning to catch. The Webbing Tug Toy, on the other hand, combines origami-inspired form with tug-and-toss function, perfect for dogs who love a good game of tug or a shake session.
Sustainability Angle
Both toys are part of the Remix line, which uses surplus webbings and materials to minimize environmental impact. The Webbing Tug Toy goes a step further with 100% repurposed yarns from post-manufacturing waste and surplus rope handles. If reducing waste is a priority, the Webbing Tug Toy offers a more visible commitment.
Trade-offs at a Glance
- Fetch Focus: The Remix Soft Flying Disc is best for fetch on land. Its soft, flexible design is easy on teeth and gums, making it suitable for dogs still learning to catch. However, it is not designed for tug-of-war or water play.
- Tug-and-Toss Play: The Webbing Tug Toy excels in tug games and toss sessions. Its repurposed webbing and rope handles provide a durable grip. However, it is heavier and might not fly as far as the disc for fetch.
- Sustainability Depth: Both toys use surplus materials, but the Webbing Tug Toy uses 100% repurposed yarns from post-manufacturing waste. If maximizing recycled content is key, the tug toy offers a stronger eco-story.
