Took this on a two-hour trail walk with my dog and never once had to carry a warm bag in my hand. The water-resistant shell kept everything contained until we hit the trash can at the trailhead. Honestly the hands-free part is what sold me.
The waterproof lining actually holds up on hot days, no leaks or smell getting through the shell fabric. I clip it to my belt and forget it's even there until I hit the next trash can.
The waterproof lining is what sold me—no more worrying about a leaky bag dripping on my backpack during the walk back. It’s light enough that I forget it’s clipped on until I need it, and the shell wipes clean in seconds.
