The Brush Guard™ is an add-on to select Ruffwear harnesses and packs, offering three distinct purposes: it provides chest and belly protection from abrasion, adds additional support when lifting and assisting dogs, and further stabilizes packs and harnesses.
The Brush Guard uses hook-and-loop sleeve attachments and easily attaches to only the following Ruffwear harness and pack: Approach™️ Pack.
The extra chest coverage has saved my dog from brush scrapes on our overgrown trail runs. What I really didn't expect was how much easier the lift handle makes it to boost him over fallen logs — way more support than the harness alone.
My older lab needs a hand getting into the truck now, and this makes lifting him feel way more secure under his belly. It clips onto his harness easily and the padding keeps the straps from digging in.
My dog scrapes her chest on rocky trails constantly, so this add-on has been a game changer. The belly and chest coverage is sturdy yet flexible, and the extra lift support makes helping her into the car way easier.
