My dog usually hates wearing anything, but he actually trots happily in this one. The waterproof shell kept him completely dry after a long walk through slush and freezing puddles.

We got hit with freezing rain on our morning walk and my dog stayed completely dry underneath, which never happened with his old coat. The windproof shell really does block the gusts, and he actually trots instead of dragging me back home.

I was skeptical about spending this much on a rain shell for my dog, but the windproof layer completely blocked the gusts that used to make her shiver on exposed ridge walks. The waterproof outer fabric stayed dry even when she plowed through wet brush and puddles on our whole loop.
