My dog carries his own food and bowl now, which honestly changed how far we can go in a day. The saddlebags swallow way more than I expected and the cross-load compression keeps everything from bouncing on descents. Three days out and he didn't seem bothered once.
Took this on a three-day trip and the saddlebags swallowed way more than I expected—two days of kibble plus a collapsible bowl fit easily. The cross-load compression straps kept everything from bouncing around on the descents, which my dog definitely appreciated.
