The padding on the chest plate doesn't rub my shepherd raw even after two hours of hiking, which was my main worry. Buckles are metal, not plastic, so I'm not fumbling with them when he's pulling. Genuinely the first harness I haven't had to adjust mid-walk.
Took this on a 12-mile muddy trail and the precision stitching hasn't frayed a bit. My dog pulls hard, but the fit stayed locked without rubbing his shoulders raw.
The expedition-grade material is the real deal—after a muddy trail run and a full hose-down, the harness looks brand new. My pup seems to actually forget he’s wearing it, which says a lot for something this sturdy.
