Wore it around my waist for a 5k with my husky and barely felt the pull on my hips. The webbing stretches just enough that he can lunge without yanking my arm off, and switching to the hand loop at crosswalks takes two seconds.

The bungee stretch is the best part, it gives my dog just enough slack to sniff around without yanking my arm every time she lunges. Clipping it to the waist belt on our morning jogs keeps both hands free for coffee.

Wore it around my waist for a 5-mile trail run and barely noticed the pull when my dog lunged after a squirrel. The adjustable webbing sat right without digging in, and switching to handheld at the end took two seconds.
