The webbing feels like the stuff on my climbing slings, thin but seriously tough. It barely registers in my hand on hour-long walks, and my 70 lb shepherd hasn't come close to testing its limits.
I swapped my old bulky leash for this one on a whim and my 60 lb. dog has yet to pull me off balance, even when she lunges at squirrels. The climbing-style webbing is way lighter than it looks but hasn't shown a single fray after two months of daily walks.
The webbing honestly feels like it could hold me, not just my dog — the rock climbing-inspired material gives me total confidence on our daily pull-heavy walks. It's so light I forget it's clipped on, yet the strength is exactly what the description promises.
