My dog usually shivers in the tent by midnight, but this kept him warm through a frosty night at 9,000 feet. The lightweight wearable design means he can walk around camp still wearing it instead of me wrestling a sleeping bag back on him.
Took this on a three-day trek and my dog actually kept it on the whole time, which never happens with his old coat. The wearable design means no more wrestling him into a separate sleeping bag at night.
My pup stayed cozy through a frosty morning at basecamp without me having to stuff her in my own bag. The lightweight fabric didn't weigh her down on the hike in, and she could still move around camp freely. It's a solid piece of gear for any dog that camps with you.
