The color blocking actually shows up in daylight, which I didn't expect from a vest this cheap. I clip my small flashlight to the light loops when I walk the dog before sunrise and it stays put.
Wore this on a dusk bike ride and cars actually slowed down for me, which never happens. The reflective strips catch headlights from way off, and I like that there are two loops for clipping on a small light.
I was skeptical about how visible I'd be on my early morning runs, but the high-contrast color blocking really pops even in dim streetlight. The bold reflective accents seem to catch every headlight from a block away, and the fit is comfortable enough that I forget I'm wearing it after a few minutes
